Final project
The Lives, Crimes, and
Escapes of the Highest Ranking
Nazi Officials
Many high ranking Nazi officials ran from their crimes or committed suicide rather than face the consequences of their actions. Many more were tried and sentenced to death or life in prison, but took their own lives before their sentences were completed. Due to their cowardice, there can never be justice for the millions of victims of the Holocaust.
Throughout this site, the justice we refer to is legal justice. We chose this form of justice as a gauge because it is the easiest to track. The men and women that follow chose to die on their own terms, a decision that was denied to their victims. A full investigation into whether or not there is, has been, or ever will be moral justice for the victims of the Holocaust would require a psycho-social analysis far beyond the scope of this project.

We provide information on museums and memorial efforts in order to help you, the reader, engage with the continuing struggle between the legal and moral sides of justice. By remembering the victims of the men and women who follow, the Nazi agenda will never come to fruition. The cultures and legacies of the Jews, Roma, Sinti, and other groups whom the Nazis attempted to annihilate during the Holocaust will never disappear from the world.
